Entering China town area in Singapore. Although it's crowded but it's very clean and comfortable. A lot of tourists from Europe or Australia visit this area. People walked around, ate and drank at the Chinese kedai (small resto) or went shopping for unique and colorful Chinese souvenirs & clothings. Smell of chinese cuisine filled up the town's air.
Here they speak either Chinese (mandarin or cantonese) or English. So, don't worry to be lost. Go farther a few blocks ahead, you'll see a crowd of people hanging around or taking some pictures and camera.
Nice shopping!!! hehehhe.....I love it! So, if you like small accessories to hang on your bedroom wall, here you can find those to make your room colorful! I've just realized those red and pink little purses hanging up there catch my eyes!! Ohh...slurrpp!! hahahha... I wana come back there.
Very nicely painted flats and stores. Clean too!! What a Singapore! hahahaha.... Well, it's enjoyable anyway. People are aware of it, so do the tourists.
Look out the passage of souvenirs. Beware of your dollars! hahahaha....
Having lunch in the foodcourt, why not? I saw "Nasi Padang"...but when I got there, it's only the name...the food dishes and the taste, ofcourse not padang food...hehehe...Indonesian food, though. Well, not bad. Lots of cookies, chinese noodles & food are available here. Pancake durian is also nice to try here...but I should say, Indonesian or medan durian is much...much tastier. Leckeurr.
Country of malls...what I can see... So, for mall-people, they will regard it as a heaven of shopping town..hehhehe.
Around Nge Ann city mall...located a long way with other malls, like Takashimaya, Ion, Isetan etc...then to get to the Underpass and MRT station.
Tang Building...I thought it was a temple....at first. Anyway. I don't think it is. It's nice to shoot anyway. Click!!
Ooohh..statues. A symbol of going shopping statue...so much it is like!! It's in front of Ion mall. You'll find many Indonesian people hanging around here. Once I heard two ladies were gossiping about their friends, with their Jakarta 'lo-gue' speaking style...yyyaaaaccchh...hahhaha. Very small world, huh? (ya iyalah, cuma di Singapore, gitu lho... :)))
Near by The Lucky Plaza...Indonesians' favorite & famous place to stay, I think. Remember Gayus, the tax coruptor, were caught here? Oh NO.
Let's go down to the MRT station in Orchad road.
